Funeral Service: Monday, August 1, 2022, at 1 PM also at the Schipper Funeral Home with Pastor George Milliman officiating. Interment will follow at Matteson Township Cemetery.


William E. Lilly age 46 of Colon passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Ascension Borgess Hospital.
William was born on July 30, 1975, in Coldwater, Michigan, a son to Carol Lilly.
On January 21, 2005, William married Becki Selders in Coldwater, Michigan.
William is survived today by his wife Becki Lilly of Colon, children: Michael (Molly) Fales, and Damean Shook, parents Steve and Carol Busby, grandmother Ethel Slack, grandchildren: Mason and Jensen Fales, and Greycen Shook, siblings: Heather Dixson, Sarah (Zach) Sharp, Tyler (Rebecca) Busby, Sean Newman, and Anita (Nick) Harkness, stepmother Debra Hoard, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
William was preceded in death by his father Red Hoard, grandfather Gerald Slack, Grandfather Max Lilly, and Grandpa and Grandma Hoard.
The Lilly family will receive friends and relatives at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 11 AM- 1 PM. A funeral service celebrating William's life will be begin at 1 PM with Pastor George Milliman officiating. Interment will follow in Matteson Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations to be made to the Schipper Funeral Home for help with funeral expenses.
