Shawn Christopher Lane, age 56 of Burr Oak, Michigan, passed away December 18, 2019, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.Shawn was born August 30, 1963 in Sturgis, Michigan, the son of James E. and Bonita L. (Offenbecher) Lane. Shawn is survived by his parents and his brother, James (Sharon) Lane II, of Zeeland, Michigan; a niece Nicole Kira Lane (William Majure) of Grandville, Michigan; Uncles Walt (Janet) Lane, and David (Diana) Lane; aunts Emmy Kloko, Nora Coler (Jim Almond), Cooky (Sam) Currier; and by several cousins.He was predeceased by his grandparents, Harry and Gladys Lane, Bonnie Offenbecher, and Tom and Ruth Offenbecher; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.In accordance with family wishes, cremation has taken place, and due to family illness, there will be no funeral services.
