Sharon Worth Thompson, age 81 of Sturgis, passed away on June 6, 2026, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born on July 26, 1944, in Coldwater, Michigan.

Sharon graduated from Colon High School and went on to serve her country in the United States Army. After her military service, she worked for many years at Sturgis Molded Products, where she was known for her commitment and hard work.

She enjoyed motorcycles and was an avid hiker who loved spending time outdoors, embracing nature and all its beauty.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Worth (Blosdale) Thompson, and her sister, Priscilla Davis.

She is survived by her niece Michelle Thornton of Beaver Island, great niece Melissa Thornton of Sturgis, great nephew Michael Thornton of Three Rivers, and brother-in-law Ron Ellis of Mishawaka.

Following in her wish's cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.

Sharon Worth Thompson will be remembered for her service, passion for the outdoors, and the lasting impact she made on those around her.
