Scott Alan Baldwin, age 56, of Colon, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

Scott was born on April 16, 1969, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He attended Parchment High School.

On September 27, 2022, Scott married Jane-Ellen Decius in Coldwater, Michigan.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Jane-Ellen Baldwin of Colon; his children: Cody (Brooke) Baldwin of Portage, Michael Baldwin of Kalamazoo, Laci Baldwin of Kalamazoo, Jarrod (Summer Caldwell) Endsley of Hastings, Brandon (Aubery) Decius of Indianapolis, IN, and Holly Anderson of Highland, IN; and his cherished grandchildren: Rhyn Baldwin and Beverly Decius.

He is also survived by his siblings: Melissa (Bryan) Baldwin-Shorter, James Lanni Jr., and Katlyn Lanni; his mother, Kathy (David) Gavitt of Colon; his father, Jim Lanni Sr. of Wesley Chapel, Florida; brother-in-law Scott Decius; parents-in-law Jerry and Janie Decius; and special aunts, Ann and Terri.

Scott was preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Scott's life will be announced at a later date.
