Sandra E. Rench age 70 of Colon, passed away Tuesday, Marc 26, 2024 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.

Sandy was born on June 23, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter to the late Vaughn and Lois (McCowen) Pelletier.

On July 28, 1974, Sandy married her husband of 49 years Glenn L. Rench in Fort Lewis, Washington.

Sandy loved knitting, spinning wool, needle point, gardening and raising chickens.

Sandy was an active member of the Colon United Methodist Church where she served as their treasurer.

Surviving Sandy is her husband Glenn L. Rench of Colon, sons: Clinton Rench of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jason Rench of Colon, and Brandon (Katrina) Rench of Nottawa, and her grandchildren: Jordan, Joshua, Isabel, Lewis, and Charlee.

Besides her parents Vaughn and Lois Pelletier, Sandy was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Pelletier.

The Rench family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. A funeral service celebrating Sandy's life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Colon United Methodist Church with Pastor David Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Burr Oak Cemetery in Athens, Michigan. In lieu of flowers any memorial donations can be directed to the Colon United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at both the funeral home and church.
