Richard E. Jones age 77 of Colon, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Richard was born on March 19, 1947, in Sturgis, Michigan, a son to the late Robert and Flora Mae (Kime) Jones.

Richard was a graduate of Colon High School as a member of the class of 1965. After school Richard Enlisted and served his country faithfully in the United States Army. After his enlistment, Richard worked as a machinist until his retirement from Maxitrol in Colon.

Surviving Richard is his sister: Deborah (James Bidwell) Yesh of Colon and brother: David (Kathi) Jones of Colon, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Following in his wish's cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
