Phyllis Elaine Van Aken age 88 of Colon, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Phyllis was born on April 13, 1936, in Reading, Michigan, daughter to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Burger) Wiler. Phyllis was a graduate of Bronson High School with the class of 1954. Phyllis worked for 35 years for Lear Corporation in Mendon now known as IAC.

Surviving Phyllis are her sons: Rick L. Himes of Sturgis and Tim D. Himes of Galesburg, many grand and great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, siblings: Karen Manchester, Laura Wiler, Doug Wiler, Cynthia Hyska, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Lawrence and Dorothy Wiler, Phyllis was preceded in death by her son Larry F. Himes, grandson Dustin Himes, and siblings: Jerry Wiler, James Wiler, Robert Wiler.

Following in her wish's cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
