Marcia Ann Kauffman age 66 of Colon passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital.
Marcia was born on June 2, 1954 in Sturgis, Michigan, a daughter to the late Richard and Leah (Poorman) Button.
Marcia graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1972. Following school Marcia worked at Midwest Tool in Sturgis where she retired from after 45 years of commitment.
On April 15, 1978 Marcia married Dale Kauffman in Centreville, Michigan.
Marcia is survived today by her husband Dale Kauffman Sr. of Colon, sons: Dale (Amy) Kauffman Jr. of Colon, and William Kauffman of Colon, stepson James (Michelle) Kauffman of Colon, 2 step grandchildren, a sister Sandra (Leslie) Richardson of Sturgis, 2 brothers: David Button of Soddy Daisy, TN, and Richard (Chris) Button Jr. of Sturgis, and several nieces and nephews.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents.
Following in Marcia's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service held at Lakeside Cemetery on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. David J. Farrell officiating.
