A private visitation and graveside service will be held at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Matteson Township Cemetery.


Lynn A. Ross age 85 of Bronson passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 19, 2022.
Lynn was born on June 9, 1936, in Three Rivers, MI, a son to the late Lewis and Pearl (Bucknell) Ross.
Lynn graduated from Colon High School with the class of 1954.
On August 25, 1956 Lynn married his wife of 65 years, Ilene M. Swift in Colon, MI. Ilene would precede Lynn in death on May 14, 2022.
Lynn was a purchasing agent for Douglas Manufacturing now Douglas Auto Tech for 25 years retiring in 1998. In his spare time Lynn was avid carpenter.
Lynn is survived by 4 children: Kimberly Ross of Schoolcraft, Danny (Janice) Ross of Niles, Alan (Darla) Ross of Bronson, and Jeff (Jill) Ross of Burr Oak, 5 grandchildren: Justin (Rachel) Ross, Nicholas (Becca) Ross, Tyler Ross, Rachel (Brent) Marsh, and Mercedes (Chris) Huddleston and 7 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Gero (Gayle) Swift, sister-in-law Bonnie Swift, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents; Lewis Ross and Pearl Ross, Lynn was preceded in death by his wife Ilene Ross.
A private visitation will be held at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. Following the visitation, a private committal service will take place at Matteson Township Cemetery. Memories and condolences can be left for the family at schipperfuneralhome.com.
