Lori Ann Ash age 63 of Sturgis, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Lori was born on June 2, 1961, in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, a daughter to the late Raymond and Arlene (Gruhot) Benoit. Lori was a graduate of Red Lake Falls High School as a member of the class of 1979. Lori worked as a self-employed care giver.

On February 21, 1982, Lori married her husband of 42 years, John A. Ash in Belton, Texas.

Surviving Lori is her husband John A. Ash of Sturgis, children: Crystal Ash of Sturgis, Anthony Ash of Sturgis, and Amanda Ash of Sturgis, grandchildren: Daison Johnson, Madison Ash, Brayden Colver-Ash, brothers: Raymond and Rolie Benoit, and several nieces and nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Arlene Benoit.

The Ash family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5-7 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon, Michigan. Following in her wish's cremation will follow her visitation. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 AM at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the Ash Family.
