Kathryn Marie Elkins age 63 of Three Rivers passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at her home.
Kathryn was born on May 15, 1956 in Wayne, Michigan, a daughter to the late Roy and Elaine (Cornish) King.
Kathryn was once married to William Elkins.
Kathryn lived her adult life in Three Rivers. She had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh on their worst day. She was the type of person that would work her fingers to the bone to provide for her children. The amount of love and compassion she had for her family and animals was truly amazing. Kathryn was one of the most selfless people you'd ever meet. Although she only gave birth to 4 children, she was a mom to many and a grandmother to most. If she started something, she always followed through with it, even though she was always in pain and she did so with a smile. Kathryn could take nothing and turn it into a huge something for her family and friends and was truly a one in a million-type person. She will be truly missed by all.
She is survived by her children; William Elkins Jr. of Three Rivers, Racheal (Robert) Willis of Sturgis, Robert Elkins of Three Rivers and Jennifer (William) Jorgensen of Flat Rock, MI, Two brothers; Roy (Sharon) King, and Earl (Julie) King, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents Kathryn was Preceded in death by a brother Michael King, and a granddaughter Kaitlyn Elkins.
Following in the family's wish's cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
