Karen L. Cross age 61 of Cassopolis, passed away at Elkhart General hospital on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Karen was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on April 10, 1960, a daughter to Robert and Patricia (Mergl) Kne.
Karen graduated from Coloma High School. She worked as a RN most of her life and most recently served Heartland and Fairview nursing homes.
Karen is survived today by her daughters: Jenna Cross of Cassopolis, Erika Cross of Cassopolis, and daughter 2.5 Ashley Combs, her mother Patricia Kne of Colon, grandchildren: Luis Sanchez-Cross, Iszy Reyes, Kyle Cross, Zoey Cross, and Ariyanna Comiskey, and her brother Kenneth Kne.
Karen was preceded in death by her father Robert Kne.
Following in Karen's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the Cross Family for help with funeral expenses.
