Gloria Elizabeth Hargreave, age 88, of Leonidas, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, at The Oaks at Battle Creek.

She was born on August 30, 1936, in Port Huron, Michigan, to the late Arthur and Clara (Sly) Moyer. Gloria attended from Colon High School and later completed nursing school. Over the years, she held a variety of roles, including working as a nurse, telephone operator, and even as a model.

On July 2, 1953, Gloria married the love of her life, Thomas Hargreave, in Battle Creek, Michigan. They shared 68 years of marriage before Thomas's passing on November 28, 2021.

Gloria found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved baking, crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, making pottery, and, above all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Diana Tyler of Portage; Debra Wilson of Thompson's Station, Tennessee; Mike (Deb) Hargreave of Ceresco; and Mark Hargreave of Colon; as well as eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her sister, Gay Moyer, and brother, Arthur Moyer.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life may be announced at a later date.
