Celebration of Life: Sunday, July 9, 2023, at their Palmer Lake home, at 3 PM.


Donnadine E. Herendeen age 101 of Colon, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Birches AFC in Leonidas. She was born on February 14, 1922, in Orland, Indiana, a daughter of the late Scott and Mignon (Walker) Wetzel. Donnadine was a graduate of Orland High School. Donnadine married Bernard Grayczyk. Bernard would precede her in death in 1968. She then married Harold Herendeen who also preceded her in death.
Donnadine worked at Kirsch Co. in Sturgis for many years. She was a member of the Colon united Methodist Church.
Surviving her today is her daughter: Sue Grayczyk of Colon, stepchildren: Dixie Herendeen of Evansville, Indiana, Jim (Sharon) Lee of Boyton Beach, Florida, grandchildren: Terry, Mark, Mindy, Pendleton and Karen Blanchard, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a sister Corlie Baker of Goshen, Indiana.
Besides her parents Scott and Mignon, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands Bernard Grayczyk, and Harold Herendeen, son Terry Grayczyk, stepchildren: Bob Herendeen, Ronald Blanchard, Judy Wilson, siblings: Max Wetzel, AJ Wetzel, Voris Wetzel, Nelma Vonolenhausen, and Gay Wetzel
Following in Donnadine's her wish's cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the lake home on Palmer Lake at 3 PM.
