Donna Lou Penney age 83 of Sherwood, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Donna was born in Coldwater, Michigan on September 8, 1940, a daughter to the late H.B. and Eleanor (VanWormer) Jones.

Donna graduated from Bellflower High School with the class of 1958. She worked as a rural mail carrier serving the Sherwood and Athens areas for many years until retirement. She was a former member of the Union City Wesleyan Church and had last attended Crossroads Church in Sherwood. She was also a former member of the Sherwood Eastern Star.

Donna is survived by her three children: Deena Cunic of Sherwood, Bobbie (Brad) Cook of Pima, Arizona, Glenda Washburn of Arizona, grandchildren: Michael John Cunic, April Cunic-Goodman, Christine Wright, James Cook, Jackie Cook, Paige Cook, Randy Sizemore, Shane Sizemore, Cassandra Demarest, Jessica Demarest, Tarra Demarest, and Shannon Demarest, many great and great great grandchildren, and a brother Charles (Linda) Jones.

Besides her parents H.B. and Eleanor Jones, Donna was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Jones and a son in law Marvin Cunic.

Following in her wish's cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
