Allen Eugene Decker II, age 73, of Colon, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

Allen was born on August 24, 1951, in Sturgis, Michigan, a son to the late Allen Eugene and Mary (West) Decker. Allen was a graduate of Colon High School with the class of 1969. He then earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Tri-State University, now known as Trine University. Allen proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Most all of his life was spent in Colon. Allen was a long-time employee of the Kalamazoo Post Office.

Surviving Allen is his bonus daughter Ashley (Jack) Revore of Mattawan, bonus granddaughter Elliot Revore of Mattawan, siblings Leah Decker of Colon, Terri Decker of Colon, Phillip "Buzz" Decker of Gobles, and Barbara Esseltine of Sturgis; nieces and nephews Jason (Coni) Decker of Colon, Niki Decker of Colon, Alicia Esseltine, Gabe Esseltine, and many great-nieces and nephews.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Eugene and Mary Decker, and sister-in-law Vickie Warden.

Following in his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Allen's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. Private interment of ashes will take place in South Colon Cemetery at a later date.
