Allan B. Malesh age 84 of Colon passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Allan was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 7, 1938, a son to the late Alphonse and Estelle (Bredelis) Malesh.
Allan was a graduate of the University of Illinois. Following his graduation Allan served his country as a member of the United States Army.
On April 4, 1987, Allan married Karin Sandgren in St. Charles, Illinois at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Allan in survived today by his wife Karin Malesh of Colon, children: Bruce Malesh of St. Charles, IL, Ed (Kimberly) Malesh of Algonquin, IL, Brian (Roberta) Malesh of Elgin, IL, Steve VanBergen of North Port, FL, David (Cathy) VanBergen of Geneva, IL, and Jennifer (Eric) Bereta of Lombard, IL, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister Carol Dotzel, and one niece Kathe Dotzel.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents Alphonse and Estelle Malesh.
Following in Allan's wish's cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
